Mt. Fuji's Diary
“World Cultural Heritage “Mt. Fuji” Spring/Summer Special”
This program is a record of the plants and animals of Japan’s famous mountain, Mt. Fuji, as well as the traditions and heritage throughout the four seasons of the areas surrounding it. It is filmed by a freelance cameraman who lives on Yamanaka Lake, one of the 5 lakes near Mt. Fuji. Every day he walks the areas around Mt. Fuji like it’s his own back yard, filming. And because of this, the videos he takes are precious things even Japanese cannot normally see. This special version is compiled from footage during the spring and summer of 2013, the year Mt. Fuji was recognized as a World Cultural Heritage Site.
